We’re pleased to announce that our precious little boy was welcomed into the world yesterday. He was 41+2days, 53cm long + 3.8kg of perfection!
We had a beautiful water birth without any interventions at GCUH & applied plenty of the strategies we learned through the hypnobirthing course!
Mark said the anchor touch & acupressure during contractions made the biggest impact for pain and relaxation for me & I appreciated the breathing techniques & birth comb; especially during the drive to the hospital when I had to manage surges on my own for nearly an hour thanks to Monday morning M1 traffic.
We felt empowered and respected in our choices; birthed the placenta naturally and we waited for white. We also took some of our bliss balls (using your recipe) for after snacks hehe. We were home after 6hours & are all doing well!
